After enduring a long spell of writer’s block from exhaustion of two years on tour from her previous album Santogold; the beautiful Ms. Santigold was able to cure herself through transcendental meditation according to NME. “Santigold learned transcendental meditation from Nancy Cook De Herrera, who worked as the publicist for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the 1960′s and introduced the guru to The Beatles.”
The transcendental meditation has seemed to have worked wonders. The recently released Master of My Make-Believe is a breath of fresh air for music lovers. The album includes production from Q-Tip, Diplo, David Sitek of TV on the Radio, and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to name drop a few.
