If you haven’t heard of Palmer Reed, than you are missing out on one of Orlando’s most talented and ambitious artists. He’s taken the stage at Orlando aLive a few times and has recently performed the National Anthem at the Orlando Magic game and opened for Keith Sweat. Palmer Reed is the ideal Indie artist who is ready to take off and offers the whole package as he plays multiple instruments in addition to writing and producing his own music.

The Fifth Annual National Record Store Day is April 21. This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists in the United States and in various countries across the globe make special appearances and performances. This year Orlando’s biggest record store Park Ave Cds, have decided to shelve local artist Palmer Reed release an exclusive vinyl which is a prelude to his new album “Strange Fruit” due to release this summer.

Park Ave CDs is located at 2916 Corrine Drive Orlandom, FL. The release will be on April 21, 2012 at 10am and the Palmer Reed meet and greet will take place from noon – 2pm on April 21.
