Climax Vibes: Put On For Your City Vol 2

As always, Culture Climax is a strong supporter of assisting our hometown and surrounding town artists in any way possible. In the month of April, we began featuring a local artist playlist and it did so well that we decided to keep it going! As like last time, you will be previewing some of the hottest tracks from some pretty dope artists located in or around the 407 area. The winner of this month’s contest will receive a feature on the site as well as a free song package from the good people over at Real Feel Recording Studio! How dope is that?!

Voting will begin on July 11th and will end at 11:59 p.m. on July 26th. You can submit one vote an hour per computer and if you’re really feeling a track, give it a download! May the best track vibe the hardest!

Wes Fif: Hold Up

407 native, Wes Fif has been a well known name in the city for quite some time now. With a resume that includes collaborations with B.o.B, Big K.R.I.T. and 50 Cent – just to name a few – Fif has been holding Orlando down for a while. In addition to his crazy collaborations with some of today’s hottest artists, he has been featured in magazines such as XXL, Ozone and The Source. With plans to push Orlando into the musical spotlight, I’m sure his latest track “Hold Up” is sure to add to his already extensive track record of hits.

SDotBraddy: RxS

Originally hailing from Miami, Fl, SDotBraddy is on his way to Orlando in pursuit of a degree at Full Sail University. Citing artists such as Dom Kennedy and Big Sean as his inspirations, SDotBraddy has a sound that is unlike any of the other south florida artists. Extremely versatile and even more unique, Braddy adds a little something different to the music scene as a whole. Peep his latest track “RxS” and give it your vote if you feel it deserves the win!

Niko Is: Walk On Water

Second time playlist artist, Niko Is, is back for another round of your votes! Living in Orlando since the age of 7, Niko’s love for music was seen at a very young age. Niko has opened up for Big Sean with his band The Great People and was recently deemed as the first hip-hop artists to be featured on 91.5 WPRK’s Local Heroes segment. With a sound that puts a unique twist on “trap music”, Niko’s track “Walk On Water” is one that is unlike anything you’ve heard. Check it out below!

Florida artist, DJ NightKid is a part of music team, The Night Kids Crew, and places his focus on underground/digital hip-hop. His talents are seen both on and off of the mic with his musical team which makes him more than just the average artist. Dj, Rapper, Beat Smith, Graphic Designer and self proclaimed Swagg Connoisseur, Dj NightKid is adamant about spreading music to the masses and he’s definitely starting off right with his song “Pages.” What do you guys think about it?

    I have been watching the competition closely, and it seems to me that there may be an artist cheating. Unfair, and unloyal to the art of competition, this should be stopped. The best artist should win without rigging votes.
