With two simultaneous openings, BOARDED UP is looking to host over 60 artists honoring the art of the skateboard. The shows will be curated by local artist TR3 Harris. Both shows will host a reception from 6-9 pm and are free and open to the public. These are all-ages shows.
How Boarded Up came about:
Started in 2011, BOARDED UP is the brainchild of Mark Harris. “The show was so popular, we brought it back,” stated Harris. “We have so many artists this year we will need 2 venues to hold all the work.” Stunning creativity by local artists will feature psychedelic patterns, grafs, blockbusters, and portraits in multiple media on skateboard decks, mounted on the wall for display.
Affectionately known as TR3, Harris is an innovative young artist residing in Orlando Florida. He has cultivated his love for the raw talent of street artists in his collaboration with The B-Side Artist. Trained at the Colorado Institute of Art, he is dedicated to supporting other artist by personally marketing and selling their work at numerous events and on the streets.
Urbans Land mark is Central Florida’s newest art curator, providing fine art consultation, artist representation, promotion, and curatorial services.
